We come look at how your business actually works. Free.

A workflow audit is a visit. We follow how the work moves through your business, find where it stalls or doubles back, and write down what we found.

No software gets recommended before someone has watched the work happen. You keep the findings either way.

What actually happens

  1. We start where the work starts: a call coming in, an order arriving, a request landing in somebody's inbox.
  2. We follow it. Who touches it, what they open, what they retype, where it waits.
  3. We talk to the people doing it, not only the person who owns it. They know where the workarounds are.
  4. We look at what you already run, and what it is not doing.
  5. We ask what you have already tried, because that usually explains more than anything else.

The gaps are rarely where an owner expects them. That is not a criticism, it is just what happens when you are inside the process every day.

What you get, in writing

The findings

  • A map of the process we actually walked, start to finish.
  • Where the work is stalling, in plain language
  • Where the work is costing unnecessary time or money, where we can reasonably measure it
  • What we would fix first, and what can wait
  • What we would leave alone
  • Roughly what fixing it would cost
  • Yours to keep, whether you hire us or not

You can take it to another shop, hand it to your own team, or do nothing with it. It is a document about your business, not a proposal. It reaches you within the same week.

The questions people actually ask

Is this a sales call with a different name?
No. It is a visit that produces a document. We will make a recommendation at the end if there is one worth making, and if there is not, we will say that instead.
What do you need from me?
We recommend starting with about two hours, though the visit varies by business. We need a walk through how the work happens and access to the people who do it. No preparation, no documents pulled together in advance, no cleaning up first. The mess is the useful part.
Do you need logins or system access?
Only if you are comfortable with it and it would help us understand the process. We can start with the walkthrough and conversation first. If deeper access would be useful, we ask before touching anything and explain why.
What if you find nothing worth fixing?
Then we tell you that, and you have a document saying your operation is in decent shape. It happens. One client wanted as little technology as possible, and the right answer was a small site and nothing else, so that is what we built.
What happens afterward?
Nothing, unless you want something to. We do not run a follow-up sequence and there is no salesperson assigned to you.
Why would I let someone walk around watching how we work?
Fair question. The answer is that the problem is usually invisible from outside, and whoever you eventually hire will have to learn all of this anyway, either up front for free or later while you are paying them. We would rather find out before anyone quotes you a number.

What came out of one

CKE Hood Cleaning

They wanted as little technology as possible.

The audit agreed with them, and the answer was a small, cleanly coded site and nothing more. It reached top local results with $0 spent on ads.

“From day one Ali came out to meet with us, listened to our input, and put a game plan together tailored to our needs.”

We'll come look, and you'll have it in writing either way.
